Based on the provided storyboard, once the user has clicked the “About UA&P” button, the sub-features will appear below it. These sub-features would also be in the form of buttons which have their corresponding links based on the information that they hold. For example, if the user would click on the “Mission” button, the University Mission would be displayed in the main window screen; if the user would click on the “Vision” button, the University Vision would be displayed; and so on.
For the paper prototype, two users have been chosen to test the designed user interface of the “About UA&P” feature for the proposed Campus Information Portal. Both of them are students from the said university. They are Miguel Almonte and Jasmine Quiogue. They were chosen because students are one of our considered user profiles.
When Miguel tested the user interface, we took a set of pictures of him based on how he interacted with our prototype. He was able to click on all of the sub-features of our prototype, thus, he managed to see all of the available information that would be included once the portal has been set up.
In the case of Jasmine, we took a video clip of her showing how she managed to explore our prototype based on the chosen information that she would want to see. She just chose to click on some of its sub-features. Nevertheless, she was still able to view the same information that Miguel encountered.
Fortunately, none of our testers had come across any problems, slips, or user breakdowns when they interacted with our prototype. Both of them are able to achieve their goal of acquiring the information that they want based on our design.
